Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune

In 1989, the Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College in Pune was founded. On a 25-acre lush campus, the university lies 5 kilometres south of Pune City and is associated with a teaching hospital. In 1996, the institution joined Bharati Vidyapeeth as a constituent college after having a prior affiliation with the University of Pune (Assumed status as a university. This medical college, which provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate medical education, has received recognition from the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college is also mentioned in the World Health Organization and has received recognition from the General Medical Council of Great Britain (WHO). About Campus Hospital

With more than 400 experts working in patient care, the institution has been providing four lakh, local residents, with low-cost healthcare. The 856 beds of Bharati Hospital are used for a variety of services. It has a speciality inpatient department and a multidisciplinary outpatient department (OPD) (IPD). Modern critical care facilities, an operating room, diagnostic tools, a blood bank that operates continuously, and a pharmacy that instructs and provides PG and UG students with advice are all available.

COURSE DESIGN
Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College offers five super specialities (DM, MCh) programmes in addition to three undergraduate, 27 postgraduate, and eight diploma programmes.

Admission Eligibility

By December 31 of the entrance year, prospective students must be 17 years old. Students must have at least a 50 percent grade in science, including physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology (for SC/ST students, this must be 40 percent in the board exams; for OBC students, it must be 45 percent). After finishing their 12th grade year, medical students who wish to seek MBBS admission must sit for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET), which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
