The Maharaja Agrasen Medical College is a well-known private university that was established in 2002. According to Bharatendu Harishchandra, who was born in the latter stages of the Dwapar Yuga during the historical era of the Mahabharat and lived at the same time as King Krishna, Maharaja Agrasen was the monarch of Suryavanshi Kshatriya. His father was King Vallabha Dev, a member of the Cush family (Son of King Rama). He was also a descendant of Suryavanshi Mandhata. The two sons of King Mandhata were Gunadhi and Mohan. The eldest child of King Vallabh of Pratapnagar, a lineal descendant of Mohan, was Maharaja Agrasen. Agrawal Gotras was one of the 18 children born to Maharaja Agrasen. The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is connected with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Science (NMC).
