There are 720 teaching beds at the campus hospital. It has six minor operation theatres that execute 70 smaller operations daily, and it has 13 big operation theatres that perform 32 major surgeries on average each day. Every day, the hospital is able to accommodate 1503 outpatients, according to the evaluation report. The hospital has a completely computerized section for medical records. Trauma centers are built along the National Highway every 100 kilometers to offer quick and effective access to healthcare. The outpatient department, medical department wards, emergency room, operating rooms, central laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, and restaurant were among the facilities still being built in the hospital complex. There are blood banks, pharmacies, and ambulance services available both throughout the day and night within the hospital and on average, 600 to 700 patients receive OPD treatment daily.

The SS Institute of Medical Science & Research Center is situated in Davanagere in the state of Karnataka.
